Um den Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen unterschiedlichsten Institutionen des Spitzensports zu aktuellen Entwicklungen der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien und ihre Anwendung in der Sportpraxis weiter auszubauen, fand am 13. und 14. April die 13. Frühjahrsschule am Institut für Angewandte Trainingswissenschaft in Leipzig statt. Themenschwerpunkte der Tagung waren die Entwicklung und Anwendung von sportartspezifischen Mess- und Informationssystemen sowie der Einsatz von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien für den Wissenstransfer in die Sportpraxis. From April 13 to 14 the 13th Spring School "Information and Communication Technology in Applied Training Science" was arranged at the Institute for Applied Training Science in Leipzig. The focus of the two days was directed toward an extended and improved exchange of knowledge and experience on the latest developments in information and communication technology and its application in training, competition and research. The development and application of sport specific measuring and information systems as well as the transfer of new developments in information and communication technology into sport practice to support knowledge transfer were two of the major fields of interests in the presentations and discussions.
